Relaxation – a Good Way to Overcome Sleeping Disorder!

Relaxation - a Good Way to Overcome Sleeping Disorder!

In medical terminology, ‘Sleeping Disorder’ refers to a lethal disease that tends to disrupt the sleeping pattern of an individual. This irregular disruption in the sleep will not only affect the health of an individual but affect the mental state of the person as well. There are different levels of sleeping disorders, namely Snoring, insomnia etc. If one fails to have a sound sleep during night, then at a certain stage, it proves to be detrimental on his/ her physical as well as mental health.

Studies have revealed that sleeping disorder is the root cause of various critical problems like deficient cognitive, disruptions in the immune system, obesity and many more. It is therefore suggested that one should take a sound sleep in order to cope with sleeping disorder. Besides, for proper sleep an individual is recommended to follow proper relaxation patterns so as to overcome the trouble of sleeping disorder.

There is no denying the fact that if an individual encounters the trouble of sleeping disorder, he will surely feel impatient, annoyed, irritated and will suffer from a lot of other complications. So, it’s better to practice certain relaxation strategies that help in eliminating the trouble of sleeping disorder. Various researches in the field of medical science have revealed that regular practice of relaxation or mediation strategies enhance the secretion of melatonin in the blood of a sufferer. In fact, melatonin is often termed as an essential sleep-regulating component of which secretion in the blood enables the sufferer to take a sound sleep.

Relaxation techniques are broadly divided into two main categories. The first technique is referred to as ‘Biofeedback’. By practising this technique, your muscles will experience a great sense of relaxation which further offers you with a good night sleep. Another important type of relaxation technique is ‘Mediation’. This technique not only brings peace to your mind but will also allow you to lead stress free life. You can practice these relaxation sessions usually during the daytime. Regular practising of these relaxation strategies allows the sufferer of sleeping disorder to diminish the effects of stress level; thus sleeping properly and comfortably during the night hours.

It is usually recommended to practice relaxation techniques before making a preparation for sleep. Once you begin to practice these relaxation strategies, you will definitely find an important alteration in your sleeping patterns. These alterations include getting asleep quickly, properly and with reduced stress level. Under mentioned are a few guidelines, by following which an individual can surely overcome the trouble of sleeping disorder:
- Always follow a strict sleeping schedule at night. A sound sleep means enabling the person to take a sleep for at least 8 hours a day.

- Follow proper relaxation patterns during daytime.

- Follow proper eating schedule.

-  Try to avoid the consumption of alcohol at night. Even small amount of alcohol at night may make it harder to sleep properly.

-
It can thus be summarised that relaxation techniques have played an important role in eliminating the trouble of sleeping disorder to a great extent.

How many sleeping disorders are there? What are they?
My friend keeps falling asleep without his permission (funny way to put it, but ya). He already knows it isn't diabetes and he's afraid of getting himself tested for a narcolepsy, so is it possible that he has something else?

It’s 4:30 am EST, and obviously I’m watching this because I can’t sleep. For people with insomnia, I have the cure. If you can, go run ten miles and I promise you that you’ll fall asleep. I can’t sleep because I’d stay up thinking about things all night.

Personally I think your question itself is a good question.
It's 2:49 am where I am and I'm wondering why I woke up at 1:00 am
and can't go back to sleep.
Mine might be stress related, although this has gone on for months.
I'm obsessive/ compulsive and take medication DO I need to increase the dosage?
My best 3 friends have died since 1993. Last one a week ago.
    Pooter, Sweetpea and LuLu.
My dad died a year ago, my uncle died yesterday.
It's making me crazy, I'm tired all the time I'm crabby , I'm 69 and wondering how long I have to go.
If you are able to get a question or a thought from my early morning ramblings from being so tired and unable to sleep then please do so.
I worry about the situation the world is in right now and how the heck people with children can afford to feed and clothe them with prices heading for the outer limits. How many people are out here worrying about world conditions and can't sleep because of it?

Avoid stimulants including cigarettes, caffeinated beverages and food such as chocolate in the late afternoon and evening.

Avoid alcohol in the evening. This can have a rebounding effect, causing a person to wake up a few hours into sleep and disturb sleep patterns.

Finish exercising at least two hours before going to sleep. Exercise increases body temperatures and has an arousing effect, making it more difficult to easily fall asleep.

Don't sleep in a warm environment. A drop in a person's body temperature is important at the onset of deep sleep. People who sleep in a well-heated room or use an electric blanket may not sleep as soundly.

Catch up on missed sleep when you have the opportunity. Busy work schedules or weekend activities often make it difficult to get as much sleep as we'd like each night. To reduce this sleep debt, try taking a 30-minute nap during the day before 4 p.m. or sleeping in on weekends when you have a chance.

Try & go to bed around the same time every night. If you try all these tips & you still wake up every 2 hours call the doctor & get an appointment. You can try prescription Ambien or just try taking Tylenol PM for sleep. If you like natural products, go to your local health food store & buy Melatonin. Take 2 about 1/2 before bedtime this should keep you sleeping soundly through the night. Good luck!

What are the three sleep disorders?

  11. changwanglib says:

Agree, stress is number one cause, if you are one with life and stuff, you will sleep, if you are fucked up, ie diseases, loss of love one, depressed, jobs, happyness.

dont know if theres a name for it but it sounds like your sleep pattern is just backwards.stay up as much as possible during the day and go to bed at night.dont nap or anything and your body will fall asleep at night and you can get back on track

Best thing to prevent insomnia is exercise! Eat well, exercise and go to bed. I used to have problems sleeping, now I exercise every day before going to bed and I sleep like a little baby. Your body just shuts down after a good hard workout.
