Insomnia is generally caused by only a few things. Often, medication can be to blame to check with your doctor if you are on any medications. Sleeping aides can work for many but there is always a risk of dependency, even when they are just OTC meds like Tylenol PM, so avoiding meds for sleep is best if possible. Insomnia is one of the most difficult sleep disorders to treat because it is often related to stress, PTSD or other mental health conditions. Figure out whats keeping you awake and try to find ways to deal with it. Be it money issues, a past experience or health concerns. Unfortunately there is no quick fix for Insomnia. Insomnia can lead to many other health issues (especially mental health) so do whatever you can to get yourself needed sleep. Also, making sure you do not have any other sleep disorders is a good idea.
Some people require more sleep than others. Do you snore? You might have sleep apnea, and this can be treated. You could see your doctor and see if he thinks a sleep study is in order.
Perhaps this isn't connected to a sleep problem but a vitamin deficiency or a hormone deficiency. Again, you'd need to see your doctor for blood work.
Yup, Insomnia possibly.
Consider all the options, too hot? Take layers off. Tv's and computers stimulate the brain making it much harder to sleep. Just keep them off at least 20m before going to bed.
A warm hot (caffeine-free) drink will make you sleepy. I guess a bath would too. Read a boring book, it honestly does work.
take care
You should go to the doctor, they will give you some tablets. In the mean time take gaviston after meals to calm your stomach down.
possibly, no you shouldn't worry. it may be sleep apnea. If you are really concerned, go to a sleep clinic and get tested.
There is a colon detoxification program called Colonix that I have been using for the past three months. It's a three-part program, part of which focuses on the removal of intestinal parasites. That part of the program is called Paranil, and it consists of four capsules a day, followed by a large glass of water. It's a proprietary herbal blend, containing things like garlic, black walnut hulls, and tons of other things.
Although the entire program costs $88.00 for a one month supply, the Paranil is sold seperately for $32.00 a bottle (and it's even cheaper if you buy three at a time.)

There are lots of other herbal parasite programs out there; you might check GNC or health food/vitamin stores to compare prices. The reason I suggested Paranil is because I've taken it myself, and the website has literally hundreds of positive verifiable testimonials. It's worth a look, anyway… as I said, I've been on the whole program for three months and I'm very impressed with it.
I have taken trazodone for sleep and it worked really well for me my Doc told me i could take up to 150 mg at night i never had any bad side effects and i slept good
good luck
